HRT is looking forward for the better performance at the Canadian GP!!!

Despite the problems with both of the HRT’s cars, Hispania Racing F1 team had a good start on the race day at the Monaco GP. Narain Karthikeyan and Vitantonio Liuzzi managed to finish the race at the Monaco’s Grand Prix where Luizzi’s completed 75 laps and Karthikeyan’s 74 out of 78 laps. Both F111 cars were struggling to keep a balance with their cars throughout the weekend.

“[…] I completed the race in Monaco which is a track where you don’t get to drive much so it’s very positive to have been able to get through every lap. We will come away from this race with positives and the sense that we’re moving forward” says Narian.

On the day of the qualifying at Monaco’s Grand Prix, Narain's car had some problems with the suspension which lead to not to drive in the qualifying whereas Vitantonio Liuzzi had trouble with the rear end of the car which lead him to the crash in corner 1 in the free practice 3 of the Monaco grand prix.

Although he failed to get in the 107 percent rule of the Qualifying, Stewards allowed them to race after allowing them to lap in front of them in the morning and  before the race & moreover they have been inside the 107 percent rule since the Australian GP which made stewards discretion to let them race at the Monaco GP.

However drivers and the team members are very optimistic about the Canadian GP, where will see more upgrades on the car.

Will HRT impress their home crowd with the new upgrades at the Spanish GP?

As Formula1 season is approaching its fifth race of the year, its one of the Hispania Racing Team’s home GP where they will perform second time ever in the Spanish GP this weekend.

The Circuit de Catalunya is traditionally known as the start of the Formula 1’s European season. It had first ever F1GP in the year 1991. Although the circuit is good and also know as a smooth circuit but its not very well known for overtaking & braking areas.

All the teams majorly upgrade their cars when the F1 season heads towards the Europe and so too HRT’s . With the Pirelli tyres, DRS and KERS will play important roles in the terms of overtaking at the Circuit de Catalunya. Also, the fact that Hispania Racing Team’s weren’t not able to test their cars in the winter even though both cars have continue to finish the race at the China & Turkey. Hispania Racing’s Tonio Luizzi & Narian Karthikeyan are optimistic about their new upgrades with their cars for the Spanish Grand Prix in which they might be able to closer the pace between the two Marrussia Virgin cars.

At the Turkish Grand Prix, Nairian’ had a good lap time, whereas Luizzi’s car had some problems with the Wheel Gun which results to the 4 pitstop for the safe strategy.

However, both of drivers are very confident about the Spanish GP “If we’re able to get all the updates we were planning then I think we’ll make a big step forward and might even impress quite a few people. Everything is going in the right direction, if we keep progressing and working as the team has until now then I’m sure we’ll have a bright future”. Says Luizzi

So will the new upgrades bring more action???
